Injection-compression moulding is a special form of compact injection moulding. The component is brought to its final form via the stamping stroke after the injection procedure. This process especially lends itself to large-area trim parts. Injection-compression moulding is the preferred process for the manufacture of large crystal-clear parts, especially when back injected with a second component.
